Super Bowl XLIII

This will be the 43rd Super Bowl which will air live this year on NBC, Sunday, February 1, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. ET.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers' home field will play host to Super Bowl XLIII. Known as "The Crown Jewel of the NFL", Raymond James Stadium has emerged as one of Tampa’s most recognizable landmarks, and it affords football fans, one of the most exciting game atmospheres in the National Football League. Opened in September 20, 1998 with a seating capacity of 65,000 (can be enlarged to accommodate more than 75,000) and having 200 luxury suites in a wide range of sizes, offers the ultimate viewing experience. The grass playing field is a six-time winner of award for best field in the NFL.

This year, fans get to vote for the best player and fan stories, so that they can be made into a Super Bowl commercial. These Super Bowl commericials continue to bring rave reviews from
TV viewers each year.

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will perform in the Bridgestone Super Bowl XLIII Halftime Show. The Super Bowl halftime show is annually the most-watched musical performance. More than 148 million viewers in the U.S. watched last year's show. The halftime show will be shown worldwide in more than 230 countries and territories.

The National Football League will produce the 18th annual NFL EXPERIENCE presented by Bank of America. The NFL Experience is another exciting event surrounding Super Bowl XLIII. Pro football's interactive fan festival offers games, displays, entertainment attractions, kids' football clinics, free autograph sessions and the largest football card show ever.

Only thing left is which teams will be there.
