This will be the 43rd Super Bowl which will air live this year on NBC, Sunday, February 1, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. ET.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers' home field will play host to Super Bowl XLIII. Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will perform in the Bridgestone Super Bowl XLIII Halftime Show. The Super Bowl halftime show is annually the most-watched musical performance. More than 148 million viewers in the U.S. watched last year's show. The halftime show will be shown worldwide in more than 230 countries and territories.
The National Football League will produce the 18th annual NFL EXPERIENCE presented by Bank of America. The NFL Experience is another exciting event surrounding Super Bowl XLIII.
